 The answer seems obvious, power and control and then some. Attached you will find proxies from the WOPOA and the Spicewood Airport. Ms Martin routinely sends out pre-filled proxies with her name ready to go so she can seat her cronies to the various boards (airport, WOPOA). She has made sure a handful of people run almost everything in this little community. Ms Martin made sure Joe Gimenez was the president of both WOWSC and WOPOA at the same time. She made sure Mr Gimenez was seated to WOWSC just when the WOWSC board started taking action to hold her accountable on the insider land deal. Ms Martin also made sure Bill Earnest got back on, another insider land deal participant  In order to get Mr. Gimenez re-elected to the WOPOA she made sure her own initiative as the governing documents committee, the road use fee increase was put on the ballot for the annual meeting. What better way to get the developer to hand over his proxies? That increase would be charged for all new homes being built. She then used that issue to garner the developers proxies to not only defeat her own initiative but to also get Joe Gimenez re-elected (he would have lost re-election by a handful of votes). Members spoke with the developer and confirmed their fears then sent correspondence to the membership explaining what they discovered. The WOPOA board, led by Gimenez and Jeff Hagar (another crony), sent letters to the POA members defending Ms Martin. He has been instrumental in fighting for her to keep the WOWSC insider land and at the same time costing the members over $200,000 in legal fees and nearly one million dollars via the insider land deal that she acquired for pennies on the dollar and in violation of state laws. Her defeat of the road use fee increase has cost the Windermere Oaks community roughly $50,000 while leaving the roads in shambles. Aside from Joe Gimenez serving on two boards, Ms Martin has her dear friend Patricia Gerino and Rich Schaefer on two boards and neither won via an election, both were installed by Gimenez. Mr Gimenez even tried to install Ms Martin to a vacancy to the WOPOA board. The members had had enough. Mr Gimenez has been the most  duplicitous crony to date.
